Project Management

We have developed an experienced team of Project Managers that understands how to install your A/V system on time, within budget, in accordance with the plans and specifications, and to the satisfaction of our customers.

Managing the installation at the project job site is critical to the success and ultimate performance of the A/V equipment. Long before the installation team arrives at the job site to begin work, the Project Manager (PM) will review every detail of the project. To fully understand the job, the PM will hold a "Project Initiation Meeting" with engineering, assembly, contract management, purchasing, and project scheduling personnel. The scope of work, design and architectural drawings, equipment list, and specifications will be reviewed. Tasks and responsibilities will be assigned.

A project schedule will be established at this first meeting that includes each phase of the engineering, equipment procurement, assembly, job site installation, testing, system commissioning, and customer training. The schedule will also include project "Milestones" that establish important dates used to coordinate with the customer, Architect, Consultant, General Contractor, and other installation trades working on the job site.


On Site Installation

Unified Systems Group employs a full time staff of job site installation technicians. Each AV Division is staffed with engineering, project management, and job site installation technicians. Unlike some integrators and contractors, we rarely hire part-time subcontractors to perform work on your job site.

By hiring and training a dedicated installation technical staff, we are able to control the quality of the job site installation. In addition to maintaining control of quality, AV installation crew is scheduled to meet the time constraints of each project. Project managers review each job in advance of the next week and make schedule updates as required to ensure the project is completed on time. As each project progresses toward completion, the project work schedule analyzed and personnel and installation resources are allocated to complete the project.

Service and Preventative Maintenance

Comprehensive on-site service and preventive maintenance contracts are available not only to extend the life of your equipment, but also to stay ahead of costly repairs, down time, critical software upgrades and outright replacement of poorly maintained equipment. We can tailor a flexible support contract to meet any service requirement or budget.
